These videos of ROSAT
(Röntgen Satellite) were taken from France on:
- September 23th 2011 at 04:36 UT. Distance to observer: 458 km. Altitude of the satellite:
284 km. Angular speed at culmination: 0.94°/s.
- October 16th. Distance to observer: 275 km. Altitude of the satellite: 235 km. Angular speed at culmination:
1.66°/s.
The speed of the sequences is accelerated 3 times with regard to real time (30 fps vs 10 fps).
Instrument: Celestron EdgeHD 14” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (at a focal length of 8000mm) on automatic tracking system, as described on this page. Camera: Lumenera Skynyx L2-2.
